About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Revenue Executive to join the Cluster Revenue-Beach team in Dubai Shared Services. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

·         Assist in managing room, rates and restrictions

·          Assist in preparing rooms forecasts on weekly and monthly basis

·         Update STR report, NCR report on a daily basis

·         Attend morning meetings in the absence of Assistant Revenue Manager/ Director of Revenue

·         Prepare daily revenue reports and circulate them to the relevant stakeholders and departments (Reservations, Sales and Marketing, Finance) in order to keep them informed of revenue performance and raise any gaps in revenue

·         Perform competitor mapping analysis by monitoring the competition’s activities on a weekly basis through shop reports and online research in order to identify potential selling points and revenue-related market trends that the SBU could benefit from

·         Support for business reviews meetings & budget preparations

·         Pull daily reports from Opera such as ‘reservations entered by’, change log, cancellations and turndown reports

·         Control inventory in PMS by balancing room types for future dates

·         To ensure that turndowns and cancellations are tracked correctly in Delphi system and communicate with Delphi administrator

·         To follow up on tentative group bookings with Events/Conversion team

·         Perform audits and maintenance on all systems such as PMS, CRS, RMS, in order to ensure that the content and information is recorded in an accurate and timely manner

·         To communicate extraordinary trends to Revenue Director/Manager

·         To support the Assistant Revenue Manager in month end reporting

·         Performs any other duties as and when required according to the needs of the business

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university studies in commercial, technical or scientific discipline

·         At least two years of previous experience working in analytical capacity interfacing with internal and/or external customers

·         Highly attentive to detail, yet also able to discern items of true importance and prioritize accordingly

·         Takes initiative and exercises good judgment

·         Excellent command of the English language

·         Highly skilled with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint

·         Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex data into simple actionable recommendations

·         Generally comfortable with technology and learning to use new applications
