Customer Insights & Analytics Manager - CRM -

Responsible primarily to apply advanced statistical techniques to various business problem areas across ATG business units with recommendations, enabling more informed decision making by business leaders.

Strategic Responsibilities
Build new predictive/descriptive models and establish methods of evaluating models to identify when they will need to be redeveloped
Design experiments/campaigns and analyze the resulting data, perform post-hoc (correlational) analysis when experimental designs (causational analyses) are not feasible and explain the limitations of the results
Functional Responsibilities

Design and test various experimental marketing approaches to evaluate the effectiveness of various programs, strategies, and policies e.g. multivariate testing / subject line testing etc
Analyze the results of above experiments, present results to business leaders, and provides advice/ recommendations.
Create insights and analytical inputs to support organizational decisions to increase revenues, ROI, ROCE and/or reduce expenditures
Perform extensive data processing and analysis tasks on large-scale, long term projects that benefit the entire organization.
Conduct various small ad-hoc or post-hoc analyses of marketing campaigns, customer purchase patterns and targeting strategies to support decisions for buying, planning departments
Present findings to business leaders in a language that can be readily understood by non-analysts.
Partner with other Statistical Analysts / Data Scientists to brainstorm and develop strategies for how to solve challenging problems when needed
Communicates with subject matter experts when needed to explain the analytical process or learn about the subject matter being analyzed
Assist in ensuring data integrity and quality are maintained throughout the organization



Bachelor's / Master's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a solid quantitative discipline in science, business.  Advanced degree or statistics major or heavy coursework in statistics preferred


8+ years of experience analyzing quantitative data preferably on large data (TB+) in retail, banking or telecom industries
Demonstrated knowledge of standard analytical/reporting/programming languages (such as SAS/SPSS/Cognos/Business Objects/SQL, etc.) employed in a complex environment
Be Proficient with Microsoft Office products e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint
